Beginning your training is the first step toward launching your travel business with The Independent Travel Consultants. This stage focuses on building the knowledge and confidence you need to understand the travel industry, how our business operates, and how you will eventually work with clients.


Your formal training is delivered through our online learning platform, Coassemble. All training modules, learning materials, and assessments are completed within that platform. Your progress and completion of each module will also be recorded there.


This Training Hub works alongside Coassemble to guide you through the overall process. Here you will find additional information about your training journey, helpful resources, live training sessions, and answers to common questions.


Accessing Your Training


Your training modules are hosted on Coassemble.


To begin your training, access the platform using the link in the invite that were sent to you when you were enrolled. Once logged in, you will see the training modules assigned to you.  Please ensure that you save this invite and bookmark the link as this link is personal to you and cannot be regenerated.


These modules are designed to be completed in order, as each one builds on the knowledge introduced in the previous module.


If you cannot access Coassemble or believe you should have received access but have not yet done so, please contact the training team so we can assist you.


What You Will Learn


Your Foundations Training is designed to give you a clear understanding of the travel industry and the role of an Independent Travel Consultant.


Topics covered during this stage include:


  • an introduction to The Independent Travel Consultants and how our business operates
  • understanding how the travel industry works
  • travel products and suppliers
  • enquiry handling and communicating with clients
  • delivering excellent customer experiences
  • the booking process and administration
  • travel regulations and customer protection


These modules provide the essential knowledge required before you begin handling enquiries or making bookings.


Learning at Your Own Pace


Your training is flexible and can be completed at a pace that works for you. Some people complete the modules quickly, while others prefer to take their time and work through the content gradually.


The most important thing is that you focus on understanding the material rather than rushing through it. The stronger your foundation, the more confident you will feel when you begin working with clients.


If you ever feel unsure about something while completing your training, support is available and you are encouraged to ask questions.


What Happens After Foundations Training


Once you have completed the Foundations Training modules on Coassemble, you will move into the next stage of your journey.


This stage focuses on preparing you to launch as a live consultant and ensures you understand how the business operates in practice.


During this stage we will help you prepare for your Go Live day, when you will receive access to the systems, tools, and resources required to begin operating your travel business.


A Quick Reminder


While you are in training, you will not yet have access to operational systems, booking tools, supplier logins, or your consultant email account. These are provided once you go live.


This stage is purely focused on learning and building your confidence.


Take your time with the training, work through the modules carefully, and use the resources within this hub if you need additional guidance.
