What inspired you to be a travel consultant?

I love travel and helping people arrange their holidays .  I did it for 28 years at BA and now it’s time to be independent.

What has been your favourite holiday you’ve ever taken?


Hawaii , as it was a dream since I was a teenager to visit my pen pals. I joined BA and got to visit Oahu in 1993 and it was everything I imagined it to be plus getting to hug my pen pals after writing to them for so many years was emotional and beautiful.

Do you have a travel tip or hack that always makes a holiday smoother?

I always have a list of essentials on my phone so I never forget what to take . I always write my name , telephone & email on a piece of paper and put it inside the suitcase , that way if it gets lost the baggage guys can contact me.

If you could recommend one hidden gem or must-visit place, where would it be?

Bali: it’s got everything, sun, sea, shopping and culture.

What's your favourite travel snack, guilty-pleasure holiday read, or holiday cocktail?

Pornstar Martini: wherever I go!
