What inspired you to be a travel consultant?


I’ve always loved travel, but I realised I enjoy finding and planning the holiday almost as much as going on it. I’m the person friends and family come to when they want ideas, options or someone to make sense of it all. After years of planning our own trips, I realised I could turn something I genuinely love doing into helping other people create brilliant memories too.



What do you love most about working as an independent travel consultant?


I get the best of both worlds. I can build Found It in a way that feels completely personal to me and my clients, while having the experience, systems and support of Jamie Wake Travel behind me. I’m independent, but I’m not on my own — and that means my clients get personal service backed by an established travel business.

Is there anything you specialise in?


Finding the right holiday for real people with real budgets. I love taking a brief — whether it’s incredibly specific or basically “somewhere warm with good food” — and finding the best overall experience for that person. City breaks, family holidays, cruises, special trips and those bigger bucket-list adventures are all very much my thing.

Top 3 Destinations I Can't Stop Talking About

1. Kraków — I left a little piece of my heart there. Beautiful, fascinating and full of atmosphere, it’s the sort of city where you can happily wander for hours, eat brilliantly and keep discovering something new around every corner. 2. Iceland — Completely unlike anywhere else I’ve been. The landscapes are incredible and there’s something quite surreal about seeing places you’ve seen in photographs for years suddenly right there in front of you. It’s an experience, not just a holiday. 3. Dominican Republic — This one will always be personal. It’s where I married my best friend, so it holds some of my happiest memories. Twenty years later we’ll be returning as part of our anniversary Caribbean cruise — which feels pretty special. ❤️

Route 66. The full American road-trip experience — iconic stops, ridiculous roadside attractions, small towns, diners, big landscapes and plenty of detours along the way. It’s been on my “one day…” list for years, and I fully intend to turn that into “we’re actually going!”
