I've spent a lot of my own money on travel in the past and know how important it is that you get great value and experiences in exchange for that money. You work hard for your holidays and I will always ensure that I put the care and attention into ensuring your Nordic adventure goes smoothly and stress-free so you can concentrate on the important thing - enjoying your break.
Part of The Independent Travel Consultants from Jamie Wake Travel.
What inspired you to be a travel consultant?
I’m Mike, the founder of Nordic Travel Table — a Finland-based Nordic travel agency and custom itinerary planning service helping travellers from the UK discover Finland, Scandinavia and the wider Nordic region with confidence, ease and a local perspective. I first came to Finland as a visitor and loved this part of the world so much that I eventually made it my home and now love being able to show off this part of the world! Whether you are planning your first trip to Finland, a winter escape to Lapland, a food-focused city break in Helsinki or Stockholm, exploring Iceland’s glaciers, or a fully tailor-made Nordic itinerary, I help turn ideas into carefully planned travel experiences that feel personal, practical and memorable.
What do you love most about working as an independent travel consultant?
That I am able to work independently whilst also have the support and know-how of a wider group of people.
Is there anything you specialise in?

Dream Trip on My Bucket List
I would love to explore more 'up and coming' destinations in Europe that are a little off the beaten track but equally provide fantastic value for money such as Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
