I'll take the time to get to know you, understand what you love and discover what makes a trip truly special for you. I want to take the stress out of planning, uncover those hidden gems and create a holiday that feels like it was made just for you.

What inspired you to be a travel consultant?
Hi, I'm Vicky and I have a confession: I LOVE to travel! From backpacking through Southeast Asia before smartphones were a thing to spending ten years living in Australia, I've always loved exploring somewhere new and finding places and experiences that make a trip truly special. These days, I'm just as happy discovering hidden gems closer to home as I am planning an adventure further afield. I created The Wandering Edit to help curious travellers discover somewhere different, experience something memorable and travel beyond the obvious.
What do you love most about working as an independent travel consultant?
Being apart of The Independent Travel Consultants means I can actually do something I genuinely feel passionate about - helping people have amazing holidays and experiences. I have the support and financial protections of an amazing team behind me and I can work from home and still pick the kids up from school.
Is there anything you specialise in?
Off the beaten path
Top 3 Destinations I Can't Stop Talking About
1. Spain! It's on our doorstep, cheap and easy to get to and yet such a diverse country! From mountains, to beaches, culture, dinosaurs and amazing food - I'll never get bored there! 2. Australia - my second home. I lived in Sydney for 10 years so I can tell you all the hidden gems, how to avoid the tourist traps and of course - where to get the best views of the harbour bridge and opera house. And don't tell anyone I said this but there's more beaches to visit than just Bondi! 3. Thailand - it's so much more than Bangkok and Phuket. I fell in love with it when I volunteered in a small village 200km south of Bangkok for six weeks. The people, the wildlife, the food and culture make it a country well worth visiting.

Petra! I've seen hiking holidays through Petra that I would absolutely love to do. The place looks breathtaking - I need to see it for myself!

Do you have a travel tip or hack that always makes a holiday smoother?
I'm a checker! I repeatedly check passport expiration dates (even though I know they're not expiring anytime soon) and I've learnt for my beach breaks to pack light and that my gym gear is never going to be worn!

If you could recommend one hidden gem or must-visit place, where would it be?
