I take the time to understand you — not just where you want to go, but what you actually want from your holiday. I know how overwhelming it can feel when there are too many choices, so I’m happy to be patient, talk things through and help narrow down the options without any pressure. Everyone’s idea of the perfect holiday is different, and I want to help create something that feels right for you rather than simply offering the same holiday to everyone.
Part of The Independent Travel Consultants from Jamie Wake Travel.
What inspired you to be a travel consultant?
I’ve always wanted to travel and see more of the world, and becoming a travel consultant felt like a way to turn that passion into something I could build from home. There are still so many places I want to experience — from travelling around America and visiting places like New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas and Disney World, to exploring destinations all over the world. I’d also love to create special travel experiences for my family, like taking my mum on safari because she loves animals, and taking my dad to Egypt to see the pyramids. For me, travel is about experiences, memories, and finally seeing the places you’ve always dreamed about.
What do you love most about working as an independent travel consultant?
I love that being part of The Independent Travel Consultants gives me the freedom to build my own business and develop my own LNM identity, while still having the support of an established travel business behind me. I have access to training, systems and suppliers, as well as a wider community and people I can turn to for guidance when I’m unsure about something. I also really valued that becoming an independent travel consultant was accessible to me without needing a large upfront investment, which gave me the opportunity to start building something of my own.
Is there anything you specialise in?
I’m keeping my travel offerings broad while I gain experience and discover the trips I enjoy planning most. I’m particularly interested in Disney holidays, especially Walt Disney World, which I would love to experience myself. I’m also drawn to wellbeing retreats and transformational travel, as I love the idea of travel as both a holiday and an opportunity for personal growth. Over time, I’m excited to see where my own experiences and my clients’ interests naturally take me.
Top 3 Destinations I Can't Stop Talking About
Walt Disney World — I’ve wanted to experience it for such a long time, and it’s right at the top of my travel wish list. An African safari — one of my biggest dreams is to take my mum on safari because she absolutely loves animals, especially monkeys, and I’m a huge animal lover too. Being able to see the wildlife together in their natural environment would be an incredible experience and something really special for us to share. Egypt and the Pyramids — my dad is obsessed with pyramids, so I’d love to take him to Egypt to see them in person. It’s another trip I really want to make happen as soon as I can.

My Travel Personality in Three Words
Curious, adventurous and playful.
Dream Trip on My Bucket List
My ultimate bucket-list trip would be a big adventure around America. I’d love to visit some of the places I’ve dreamed about seeing for years, including New York, Las Vegas and Hollywood, with a trip to Walt Disney World as an absolute must! I’d love to make it a proper multi-stop adventure where I could experience completely different places, sights and activities along the way rather than visiting just one destination. There is so much of America I want to see that I think one trip might turn into several!

What has been your favourite holiday you’ve ever taken?

Do you have a travel tip or hack that always makes a holiday smoother?
One thing I learned the hard way is to research your accommodation properly before you book! I once went to Ayia Napa without looking into the hotel enough beforehand, and it turned out to be awful. Since then, I’ve realised how important it is to look beyond the photos, read recent reviews and check things like the location and facilities carefully. A little extra research before you travel can save a lot of disappointment when you arrive.
